Dr Erandi Jayakody completed a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Sydney in 2007 and began working in dentistry the following year as an Oral Health Therapist, before returning to the University of Sydney to complete her Bachelor of Dentistry in 2015. Over more than fifteen years in the profession she has built extensive experience in general and restorative dentistry.
Her clinical strengths lie in comprehensive treatment planning and restorative work, including crowns, bridges, aesthetic restorations and the restoration of dental implants. Erandi develops each treatment plan around the individual patient, taking into account their goals, their circumstances and their long-term oral health, and she makes sure every person understands the options available before treatment begins. She has a growing interest in implant dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation, and works alongside the experienced dental team at The Sydney Implant Institute.
Her care begins with listening. Calm, approachable and thorough, she takes the time to understand a patient’s concerns before explaining treatment in clear and manageable steps. Erandi has a genuine appreciation for patients who feel anxious or have avoided dental care, and she works to help them feel comfortable, informed and never judged or pressured.
Erandi recently volunteered in Papua New Guinea, providing general dental care to local communities, an experience she found deeply rewarding. Outside of dentistry she enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, travelling, live music, the beach and good food.
